ABOUT US
Held in the quaint historic town of Tuscola, Illinois, population 4500, the Rural Life Antique Show began in 2011. With the strong support of the city, promoter Donna Kidwell has grown the show from it's original location at the Douglas County Museum, and has added two more venues - the Tuscola Community Building in 2012, and the Main Street Center in 2019. These three buildings are packed with dealers from across the country, bringing a huge variety of antiques. Looking for something 'different'?Rural Life is the perfect place to shop!
Donna Kidwell is both an experienced show promoter, as well as a fine quality show dealer, participating in select antiques shows a half dozen times each year. She's in that unique position of knowing both sides of the business, and counts many dealers and promoters as friends. Donna's been in retail her entire life, and has owned the beautiful Winterberry Store and Antiques in downtown Tuscola for more than 35 years.
Donna and husband Richard are such a strong team, working tirelessly together to offer the Rural Life Antique Show twice a year, always the first weekend in March and the second weekend in November. Rural Life has grown to be THE premier antiques show of Antiques Week in Central Illinois - and customers come from nearly 50 states to find special treasures!
